Who we work with

Funding from a Dubai lender, wherever you are.

Much of what we fund is cross-border by nature: a European company expanding into the UAE, an Asian investor backing a Gulf asset, a family office co-investing, or an expatriate owner refinancing or selling a UAE business.

We lend directly, and refinance through capital partners across the GCC, Europe and Asia. Facilities can span jurisdictions and be drawn and repaid in the currency the business earns in. See how we lend or read on for how we work with borrowers outside the UAE.

  • International companies

Entering or expanding in the UAE and needing a facility, acquisition funding or working capital.

  • Investors and family offices

Leveraging or co-funding UAE-linked assets, with diligence done before capital moves.

  • Project sponsors

Raising cross-border debt for energy, infrastructure, real estate and other capital-intensive projects.

  • Expatriate business owners

Funding growth, refinancing, valuing or selling a business they own in the UAE.

Questions international clients ask

What changes when funding crosses borders.

Four questions that come up at the start of most international requests, and how we answer them as a lender.

Question 01

What do we look at before we lend across a border?

Evidence, not the deck. Revenue quality, working capital, related-party exposure and key contracts decide whether a credit holds. The case is run under base, downside and stress assumptions to show how much room the plan really has.

Cross-border credits add currency, rate and counterparty risk, and the UAE corporate tax and VAT position. Our due diligence and credit review is built to test exactly these points before a decision is made.

Question 02

How is a cross-border facility structured?

Around three things: the cash flow that services it, the security that is actually enforceable, and the currency the business earns in. Where a single loan does not fit, structured finance layers senior, mezzanine or project debt into one package.

We write facilities directly and, where the size or shape calls for it, syndicate alongside banks, private credit, family offices, development finance institutions, export credit agencies and sovereign wealth funds.

Question 03

What changes for expatriate owners of UAE businesses?

Families, other businesses and long-term plans often sit in more than one country. The funding questions are the same — growth capital, refinancing on better terms, pricing the business, bringing in a partner or selling — but timing and structure must fit a wider set of commitments.

We cover the business side: direct lending, business valuation and M&A and business brokerage. We do not manage investment portfolios or provide personal wealth planning.

Question 04

How is the relationship run day to day?

One senior lead takes your request from first call to drawdown, however many lenders, investors or advisers are involved. Terms, timeline and fees are set out in writing before work begins.

We stay engaged until the money moves, and after it. Learn more about who we are.

Cross-border considerations

What we handle so you run one process.

Six areas that decide whether a cross-border facility closes or stalls.

Cross-border facilities

Borrower, security and lenders in different countries, brought together under one facility and one timetable.

Multi-currency lending

Drawn and repaid in the currency the business earns in, with currency and rate risk dealt with in the structure.

Security and structure

Security treated as a structuring question from day one, and the facility built around what is enforceable.

Tax and regulatory position

Corporate tax, VAT and regulatory obligations checked, with FTA representation alongside a registered tax agent.

Verification before progress

Identity, ownership and source-of-funds checks completed before a request progresses, in line with UAE AML and CFT rules.

Confidentiality across borders

Information held under confidentiality undertakings and shared only with named parties, wherever they are based.

These sit within our wider framework of conflict checks, AML and KYC procedures and formal confidentiality. See how we work.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from international clients.

Yes. We lend directly and arrange funding for borrowers across multiple jurisdictions from our Dubai headquarters. The first conversation does not require a visit to Dubai: request funding online, email, call or message us on WhatsApp.

The first conversation can take place by phone, email or WhatsApp, or through the online funding request, and you do not need to share the whole file at that stage. Site visits and later meetings are agreed with your lead contact as the facility progresses.

Our lending team reviews your request and confirms fit within one business day. We then run a conflict check and complete identity, ownership and source-of-funds verification. Indicative terms are set out in writing, with an NDA in place before detailed information is exchanged, if you need one.

No. We lend to and arrange funding for businesses, investors and projects. For expatriate owners of UAE businesses, that can mean a growth facility, a refinancing, a valuation or a sale. We do not manage investment portfolios or provide personal wealth or retirement planning.

The GCC and wider Middle East; Africa (West, East, Southern and North); Europe and the UK; South and South-East Asia; Central Asia and the Caucasus; and the Americas. If your jurisdiction is not named, ask — we have almost certainly looked at it.

Yes. Facilities can be structured across jurisdictions and drawn and repaid in the currency that matches the borrower's cash flow, with currency risk dealt with in the structure rather than left to chance.

Yes. Lenders, investors, and legal and tax advisers are coordinated around a single timetable, so you run one process instead of several. Formal UAE tax representation with the Federal Tax Authority is handled alongside a registered tax agent.

Information is held under confidentiality undertakings and shared only with named parties to the transaction. An NDA is available before any detailed information is exchanged, and material is returned or destroyed at close on request.

We stay engaged: tracking performance and covenants against the plan that was financed, and flagging early when a structure no longer fits the business. Refinancing or further funding is handled by the same team.
