01Who we are

This policy explains how Royal Financial Group (“RFG”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit royalfinancialgroup.ae, submit an enquiry, or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

We are responsible for the personal data described here. Our office is at Al Fattan Business Hub, Level 10, Marsa Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@royalfinancialgroup.ae.

02What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, whether you are a borrower, introducer, sponsor or investor, the type of funding, jurisdiction, amount required, purpose of funds, trading history, security available, indicative transaction size, urgency, your preferred contact method and your message. If you email, call or message us, we receive what you choose to send, including any documents.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data when pages are requested: your IP address, browser type, the pages visited and the date and time. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.

Spam protection. The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and how you interact with the page so it can tell people from automated bots.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data through it. Please do not include identity documents or bank details in the enquiry form.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss how we might help.
• To assess a potential mandate, including initial conflict and suitability checks.
• To carry out any engagement you agree with us, under its written terms.
• To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
• To protect the website and our systems from spam, fraud and misuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

04Legal basis

We handle personal data in line with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Depending on the situation, we rely on:

• Your consent, given when you choose to send us an enquiry;
• Steps you ask us to take before entering into an engagement, and performing that engagement;
• Legal obligations that apply to us; and
• Our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to business enquiries.

05Who we share it with

Your information is treated as confidential. We share it only where necessary:

• Service providers who run our website and email on our behalf, such as our web host (Hostinger), our email provider (Microsoft 365) and Google (reCAPTCHA and web fonts).
• Capital partners and professional advisers (for example co-lenders, syndicate participants, banks, funds, lawyers or valuers) only with your agreement, as part of a mandate you have asked us to run.
• Authorities where the law requires us to disclose information.

06International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside the UAE. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards to protect personal data.

07How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to run any engagement that follows, and afterwards for as long as the law or our professional obligations require. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

08Cookies

The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. On the contact page, Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies it needs to detect automated traffic.

09Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website and form, restricted access to enquiries, and confidential handling of mandate information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive documents through the form.

10Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• Delete your personal data, or restrict how we use it;
• Stop using your data where you have withdrawn consent or objected.

To make a request, email info@royalfinancialgroup.ae. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant UAE data protection authority.
