We lend, our partners refinance

The first holder is rarely the long-term one.

RFG writes and funds the facility first, so the borrower has certainty of funds. As it seasons, it is refinanced with the partner best suited to hold it, approached in parallel so terms compete.

“We lend. Our partners refinance.”

One credit case

Built once by RFG, to a standard sovereign and institutional partners recognise.

RFG commits first

The facility is written and funded by RFG, so the borrower is not waiting on a market process.

A considered shortlist

Only partners with the appetite, tenor and mandate to hold that facility.

Refinanced on market terms

Partners approached in parallel, so the take-out is priced against the market.

Frequently asked questions

Capital sources, answered.

Who provides the funding?

Royal Financial Group lends directly where a facility fits our mandate. As it seasons, we refinance it through one or more of twelve classes of capital partner, from sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and insurers to banks’ specialty finance desks, private equity, family offices and HNIs.

Why approach more than one lender?

Because terms differ. Pricing, tenor, covenants and security vary widely between lenders for the same credit. Competing terms show what the market will really offer.

Will my information be shared widely?

No. Lenders are approached selectively and under confidentiality. We agree the list with you before anyone sees the file.

Do you work with international lenders?

Yes. We work with capital partners in the UAE, the wider GCC and internationally, including in local currency and cross-border structures.

Does it cost more to go through you?

Our fees are agreed upfront and set out in writing. The aim is that the terms we secure more than cover them, and we tell you plainly if a direct approach would serve you better.
